There are 7 Chakras located in the centre of the body, just behind the spinal column going right up to the top of the head. They are very sensitive, highly responsive Energy Centres which respond to your thoughts, words, deeds, actions, reactions, events and circumstances. They are responsible for nourishing your mind, body, soul and emotions. When your mind and body are in harmony with one another, these energy centres are in balance and harmony, drawing in energy from the environment around them and nourishing your body organs, cells and tissues to function at their best. If on the other hand, you are stressed, anxious, overwhelmed, frustrated, angry or pressurized all the time, these states will cause your chakras to go out of balance. Other imbalances which cause chakra disharmony include sudden loss of a loved one, loss of your home, finances, relationship, separations, divorce, loss of a child or baby, parent, moving jobs, school, college, country or trauma of any kind will be triggers to imbalance your chakras. When the Chakras become imbalanced, they starve your body organs, cells and tissue of energy. They do this by literally throwing out the energy the cells, organs and tissues need to function at their best, while starving them of the energy they need for growth and repair. The result of this is that your body/mind/soul/emotions go into states of unease and have the potential to blossom into diseased tissue.
